Biography

Kylah Grimes is currently a Senior at San Lorenzo Valley High School who enjoys making art in class, as well as during her free time. She makes art using digital media such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (in Graphic Design class) and with drawing pencils, colored pencils, ink, and Procreate (in AP Drawing). She uses a free drawing app, Krita, at home, and her sketchbooks are mostly filled with rough colored pencil drawings, drafts for digital pieces, concept art for her fictional stories, and goofy comic strips. And Dragons. Lots of Dragons.

She plans to continue to use what she learned in class to continue to improve her art on her own time, and put it to use in real life, whether through book cover design, poster design, or just with any art involving digital media, or drawing. Her favorite memory from her Graphic Design class was when she saw Sun and Moon in the 2023 calendar. Her favorite memory from her AP Drawing class was being one of the first in her class to finish her AP portfolio on time.
